Who is Glasskube?

Glasskube is a software infrastructure company based in Vienna, Austria. Founded by Philip Miglinci and Louis Waefler, Glasskube helps companies regain their Digital Sovereignty. We want to change the way companies process their data and are developing infrastructure software that enables companies to automatically deploy software on their private infrastructure. Your Mission

Are you ready to share your knowledge and experience with the open source community and work transparently? As an open-source infrastructure service provider, our mission is to build a platform that automates the deployment of open-source tools in cloud native infrastructures. Your mission will be to support our experienced team of developers in building out this platform, immersing yourself in the world of Kubernetes and helping to develop our open-source Kubernetes operator together.

  • Versatile tasks around the development of our Kubernetes operator and our platform
  • Close collaboration with your DevOps and platform colleagues
  • The opportunity to learn from experienced developers, immerse yourself in the world of Kubernetes, and help contribute to a rapidly growing startup from the very beginning
  • Open communication with the founders and executives

Your Experience

  • You have already made some experience with Java, implemented your first small projects and are interested in learning Kotlin. (Don't worry, we will help you with that :-) )
  • You have already had first experiences with REST-Apis in modern frameworks (e.g. Spring Boot or Quarkus)
  • You have already completed an education in computer science or software engineering (e.g. TU Vienna, University of Vienna, FH) or you are still actively studying.
  • Advantage: You like to work with Linux systems and Docker
  • Advantage: You have already made first experiences with Kubernetes
